Porter is home!

I wanted to let everyone know that we are home!!!!! I am SO happy to have left the hospital and to be able to take Porter with me! I can't get over how little he is. When we took the monitors off of him and I could hold him it was so nice. He is so fun to hold. He curls his legs up and looks like a little ball of baby. I take him to his pediatrician tomorrow for a check up. I will have to take him there probably once a week to get him weighed and see how he is doing, but I would do that any day over him having to stay at the hospital. He weighs 4 pounds 10 ounces, down 3 ounces from when he was born. All the doctors and nurses can't believe he is already leaving. They kept telling us that this isn't normal. He is our miracle baby, Im so grateful that he has done as well as he has. He is a strong and healthy boy. Carlie and Maci went to my sister Niki's house down in Las Vegas on Sunday and they are coming home tomorrow. I called Carlie and told her I would be home with Porter when they get home and she was excited. It will be so nice to have all my kids home together and not have to be running back and forth to the hospital. Thanks to all of you who have prayed for us and been there. It's truly a miracle Porter is home. Life is so precious, you never know what is going to happen. I have learned to be grateful for all that I have. I have a wonderful husband who has been so good through all of this, my kids who are all healthy and strong. I have the best family! For the power of prayer and for my husband who was able to give a priesthood blessing to me and to Porter when he was born. Things are going to work out fine. I am so happy for that. We will keep adding pictures and updates on Porter. Thanks again to all of you.
